18 Holes for Haiti

The 3rd annual 18 Holes for Haiti golf tournament was Tuesday, April 19th, and it was the perfect mixture of great weather, great fellowship, and great success! Twenty teams joined us as we raised money for our friends at Hope Vision Ministry, and volunteers from Capstone Church, Haiti Gospel Fund, and Bachtel Realty Group worked tirelessly to make sure that everything was organized and enjoyable for all who attended.

Raffle tickets for a Primo Grill were sold for $5 each, as well as numerous other items that could be won with a single $1 raffle ticket including a golf-themed gift basket, a disc golf set, a car wash kit, and more. Silent auction items were, also, up for grabs, and the highest bidder for each became the owners of some incredible products such as a professional photography session, several cleaning services, and a coffee bundle complete with a Keurig 2.0, just to name a few. Many who attended walked away with these great prizes!

Numerous teams from previous years returned to play with us again, but we also had a few new faces in the mix which was very exciting. Carolina Springs Golf Course in Fountain Inn, SC hosted the tournament for the third year in a row, and they did another incredible job accommodating us. All in all, it was a perfect day!

Pastor Andy and Hope Vision Ministry benefited greatly from all the hard work, dedication, and passion that were the driving forces behind organizing and executing this fundraising event, and Haiti Gospel Fund is very grateful to Capstone Church, TJ Bargeron, Jon Paul Phillips, and everyone else who saw it to fruition. In addition, many individuals and businesses partnered with us financially in order to help us reach our goal, and their support was instrumental to the tournament’s success. All of the support that 18 Holes for Haiti received was overwhelmingly generous and so very appreciated.

To God be to glory for His continued provision, providence, and power at work in the lives of those at Hope Vision Ministry through those who diligently support our friends in Port-de-Paix, Haiti!
